For about two weeks now I have been waking up with a great feeling inside my belly. For those who don’t know I am engaged to an incredible guy and I still feel butterflies when he kisses me but the feeling I am talking about here is a complete different one. It is the one you feel when you found a job you finally like! I used to be quite upset to be working weekends or late nights but I don’t think it is a problem anymore as I am now surrounded by clothes and awesome people who loves clothes! Plus, I have what you can call an obsession with order so being in charge of tidying what I love the most, fashion, I can’t complain! I have done a few late shifts and I loved it, weekend as well are cool as it is incredibly busy you literally have no time to be bored and you better run! Anyway, I enjoy my spare this morning to write a little article on what I have bought in my H&M store where I benefitiate of a discount! With this last argument, I convince myself I have found the perfect job!
Wherever you go on the high street pink is a dominant colour this winter. On knitwears, on sheer shirts/blouses, on tops, on accessories, well pink is the colour to wear! So I decided to go for what we call at H&M the dusty pink and I picked a knitwear jumper composed of 90% Acrylic and 10% mohair. It makes me feel cuddled by like a soft warm wool and this last bought comes right on time with the cold weather! I made it contrast with a very natural white pointed flat collar from a chiffon blouse that I also got in H&M! I love the finished style that this combination gives me, I look like the first of the class which is exactly what I wanted to do so I am satisfied!
I took some pictures last friday after going to a casting to be fitting model for Topshop, apparently my measurements are not close enough to their perfect measurements of a size 6 so that will not be for this time but who knows what the future keeps for me! I did enjoy having little yellow and blue dot stickers all over my body for the day as I did not remember to take them off and noticed them in the shower, haha!

Hello my Poupidien,
We are more than a week after my birthday actually happened, it is about time I show you what pressies I got! For those who wonder, I am 22. I can’t believe that I have already 22 years behind me! When I was 15 I thought 22 was the best age because the two “2” looks cool together and because it is not too old or not too young. There is no cool age really, as long as you have what you want in your life any age is great, I wish sometimes I could go back to my 15 and change a few details though! If I keep talking I will probably start having wrinkles on my face before I even said what were my presents. The first I opened was my Tatty Devine necklace, with guess what written on it?!! “Poupidou”, isn’t that awesome? And in pink I mean have a look at the picture I think it is clearly the best present ever! The second present was from House of Holland, an English Fashion label really cool launched in 2008 by Henry Holland. I had the short from their Mr.Quiffy collection and I love it! I didn’t want to put any picture of it yet as my awesome fiancé, Jeff, won one of their Mr.Quiffy Tees ! I could not believe it, they even put his name on the article talking about their pop-up store on Monmouth Street, seven dials where he bought my shorts, have a look that makes him kind of famous, haha! After a long reflexion about what size we should order it in, and in other terms who would have it, I decided that he could have it, after all, he won it, but that he would have to be doing a House of Holland themed photoshoot with me! I can’t wait for the photoshoot, we are ordering the T-shirt tomorrow so it could be anytime next week. Last but obviously not least my third present was not a material present, I had the honour to be punting along the Cambridge River. Thankfully, Jeff was doing all the work I just had to relax and take some pictures of the beautiful university buildings from the other end of the boat! It was such a romantic birthday. I made some duck friends, I had a fabulous picnic under the rain and all that wearing my cute pink peach wellies matching my pink Poupidou Tatty Devine necklace! I did a vine of my wet picnic to share it with you but also mainly so I can always remember this special birthday.
Loads of kisses and love, see you soon and enjoy my Cambridge photos!
Ps: Now that my birthday, my fiancé’s birthday, Notting Hill Carnival and almost all the festivals have passed, summer is officially finished in my mind, I want cold weather and rain every day from now on!
Hey people! today’s style is funky chillin’ with my oversize Kimbra T-Shirt, my favourite black H&M leather jacket, my River Island shoes, my pink and dark grey Aztec Primark skirt. To sprinkled my outfit with a little bit of gold I put my River Island necklace on, my lovely earrings from camden market and my salmon/gold ring stolen from a friend! As you can see I’m still loving the white nails, I keep wondering what’s this white thing on my skirt and then realize it is only my finger moving! I am not the only one to rock the white nails check this Asos Facebook Album!
This T-Shirt has got a special meaning to me because I bought it at the last concert I have been to. Ok that’s a lie, I accompanied my sister to see One Direction at the O2 more recently but it doesn’t count… So I was saying to the last concert I have been to: Kimbra. She is an Australian artist, she is a massive inspiration; plus she is totally crazy and I do love some craziness in my life here is the link to my favourite tune: Kimbra – Cameo Lover
Oh and by the way today was the beginning of Poupidou’s fake tan operation! So you’ll see anytime soon a golden brown poupidou… Or at least a less white, haha!
