photoshoot – P O U P I D O U

Hey Poupidiens,

As promised in my Birthday Pressies article, here is for you a special photoshoot with my fiancé in the Mr.Quiffy shorts and Tee from House of Holland!

I had an interview last week on Thursday, the weather was amazing back then and the woman I talked to told me that it was the last day of summer! So I decided to enjoy as much as I could this last hot day of the year! Friday was ok and Saturday as well, I did three BBQ’s, three days in a row and I am glad I did because in London the weather and temperature suppose that Autumn has finally arrived! It’s great news for us Fashionistas, it means time to tidy the wardrobe and buy some more clothes! For those who refuse to put your Summer clothes away, like me, it is time to think how to recycle them. Personally I will still wear all my crop tops, probably with others layers of clothes but they will be used for sure. For the others who think about throwing them away please don’t! Go to your nearest H&M store and give them your old clothes, they will give you a £5 voucher to redeem online or in store that you can use when you spend at least £30, think about the planet and don’t let fashion go to waste!

Happy Birthday to Poupidou! Happy Birthday to Poupidou!

So my birthday started last week with my first present from my fiancé: a Hama Star 63 Tripod for my camera! That means no more problems using the bin to take my pictures anymore, I know it sounds terrific and smelly! But it isn’t all, I have been given another piece of information for my special birthday present, and the clue was: “Secret photo-shoot the whole day on the 16th of August”. It left me quite excited wondering so many things! Will it be in London, outside London, in a place I have never been before, in a studio? Mama mia, all I know is that it is not abroad or on the moon because I have asked and the answer was no, I am a bit disappointed but I guess I will get over it! It tormented me a little then I decided to just stop thinking about it so I will be even more surprised today!

So as I promised two days ago, here is my photoshoot full of River Island items!

Let’s start the description of my outfit with my cream lace insert cable knit jumper, that I wear with my gold tone funky double curb chain, my gold tone hexagon hoop earrings and my new lovely beige colour block structured doctors bag, all from River Island!
You might have noticed I am wearing more than what I have listed, so here is the rest, for the bottoms I picked my white skinny jeans from H&M, my pale yellow and light grey heels from Aldo and my nail polish 430 Coralicious from Rimmel London that you can easily find in Boots. Last but not least my new midi-finger ring from Topshop! This one has not left my finger since I bought it!
